Pepper, the deerhound lurcher

Pepper is a young lurcher, who was abandoned after apparently being used for hunting.
He’s in good health (yeay!) and very sweet. A smaller guy, at about 29 kg/63 lbs, the vet clinic staff in Seoul are all in love with him already.

His name comes thanks to Lynn Santilli, who won the chance to name our next dog in our online auction last month. This is what she says about her choice:”He’s gorgeous. I would like to name him Pepper after my dog that I just lost. My Pepper was from Taiwan and I had her for 14 years. When I saw the auction I thought it would be a tribute to her if another dog from that part of the world was a Pepper. She was a very smart pup and much loved. I know it’s not an original name but it has great meaning to me.”

He’s very lucky to have such an auspicious name!Pepper is being sponsored by Greyhound Pets, Inc., who is gratefully accepting donations in his name (as well as for Gandhi, Hamkke, Louisa and Wendy).
