Louie and Wendy

We learned of 4 greyhound puppies right after rescuing Hamkke, and rushed to collect them from a pound where they had become quite ill.  Two were black females (we thought), and two were brindle males, probably from the same litter, only a few months old.  All four had parvo virus, which took both the brindle boys in a matter of days.

Both Louisa and Wendy struggled on in the care of one of our trusted vets, and have survived, and arrived recently in Seattle, WA, where Louisa was discovered to be Louie!

They are recovering, growing, and (of course) playing like nutters at GPI's kennel.

Their care has been expensive and long.  If you are moved to donate towards their expenses, or to apply to adopt one or both, please contact Greyhound Pets, Inc..
